Graduated in pulp & paper technology, with 30 years of experience in the paper industries, started to work for Procarta in 2017. With 12 years of experience directly in paper mills (tissue, packaging, specially coated paper); 10 years of work as a Tissue Technology Manager and Start-up Engineer in PMT Italia; 5 years of Freelancer Consultant in projects (greenfield and machinery rebuilding) as a Site Manager and Project Manager. More than 35 tissue machines started up, 2 new fluting and liner machines start-ups and 10 rebuilt kraft paper machines. Worked on up to 40 projects in his career.

Electrical Engineer with Master of Science in Automation. Has a long experience in electrification and process control systems such as DCS from Honeywell and Metso. 11 years of successful industrial automation field experience in many multinational projects in both electrical automation engineering and project management within the process industries throughout Europe, Turkey and The Middle East. Thanks to his 12 years sales career in Metso/Valmet that sets up a valuable professional network in the paper industry. He had more than 30 projects for DCS, QCS and PLC during his long career. Joined Procarta in 2019 as Sales Executive.

Bachelor of commercial and Master in communication, live and work in the United Arab Emirates for almost 20 years. With the position of Marketing Executive first and Senior Territory Sales Executive, later on, grow his career in the oil and gas company from 2001. Opened his personal trading company for safety equipment and tissue converting plant spare parts in 2012, having as a business market the GCC area. He becomes an active member of the Procarta team from 2019 as Area Sales Manager.

Ali Armouti, a graduate in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, began his professional career in the tissue industry in 2019. He started his journey at Fine Hygienic Holding as a Process Engineer, where he contributed to optimizing and improving the manufacturing processes. Ali’s dedication and expertise led to his progression to the role of a Production Line Leader, where he successfully managed the production line and ensured efficient operations. Throughout his career, Ali has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence and has made significant contributions to various projects and initiatives.

Graduated from the University of Essinglen in Germany in 1983, with a specialization in Mechanical and energy, he started his career in different kinds of industries till 1989. In this period was employed in BELOIT and grow his experience in the Paper industries as Chief-Eng. responsible stock-prep and approach flow systems, project engineering, (process balancing, dimensioning, stock-prep machine mechanics, lay-outs, etc. approximately in 30 years 55 plant start-up and followings, aftermarket activities.

Emad Melaik

Holds a degree in industrial chemistry and a master’s degree in business administration. He has worked in various sanitary paper mills and printing/writing paper factories in Egypt, participating in starting up over 6 production lines. Emad has experience in all production departments and has worked with companies like Al-Ahram Paper Mills, Fine Holding, Zeina Group, and Interstate Company. He started as a quality and production engineer and rise to the position of Director of Production Department. Emad later worked as a freelance papermaker, successfully starting up and operating a deinking plant at Al Amal Company. He also helped in converting the company’s production from brown paper to white paper and provided technical support to Nefertiti paper mills. Emad has extensive experience in management, cost analysis, quality control, system audits, sustainability, and start-up operations. From June 2024 he is employed in the new office of PROCARTA Egypt located in Cairo as Application Engineer.
