Officine Airaghi S.r.l. was founded in the Second World War by Ezio Airaghi, technical director of a well-known paper machinery manufacturer of that time. A historical company that has been working for more than 65 years in the paper industry and is now in the midst of the second generational passage with the cooperation between Mario Ghibellini and his two sons, Luca and Michele, Ezio’s nephews.
The experience gained in these decades allows us to have a thorough knowledge of the technical and maintenance problems and then design and produce various types of spare parts for stock preparation machinery.

The A.Celli Group offers Digital Solutions to optimize production and maintenance processes, by developing advanced DCS controls, innovative industrial automation applications and integrated Automatic Warehouse Solutions, addressing prevalently the market of machine manufacturers for the world of paper, tissue and nonwovens.
OMC Collareda was initially called F.lli Collareda Sdf, and it was a small mechanical workshop producing metalwork for the industry in general.
Already back then, focus was on the Paper industry with the production of tanks, chests, metalworks, assembly and installation of said products at customer’s premises and relative connection pipes.
In 1981, acknowledging the needs of the Paper Industry to recover process water for use and recycle the raw materials contained in it, we began the adventure to design and build equipment suitable for the purpose, with the first “self-cleaning” sand filter, still being produced.
During those years, some changes were made to the trade name, which led F.lli Collareda Sdf to become O.M.C. Collareda Srl, despite retaining its production features
In the following years, with the scope to manufacture its own products, the resources were focused on the development and design of other technologies for the Paper industry, not only for treating water and recycling raw materials, but also auxiliary equipment to install in the stock preparation vat.
Currently, the activity consists in design, production, assembly and start-up of systems to treat water coming from industrial and civil processes, biological systems, primary water treatment, sludge dewatering, stock preparation systems for the Paper Industry, for any type of paper, and complete deinking plants.
Experience and structure allow not only to build specific equipment for the customer, but also to develop any engineering project in specific sectors, to perform “turn key” installations in any place and carry out improvement studies of existing water cycles. OMC Collareda evaluates case by case, proposing the most suitable customised solutions in compliance with laws and the main customer’s needs: recycling of raw materials, recovery of water and energy saving.
Founded in the late Sixties in the industrious Italian North – East, as a domestic workshop specialized in the regrinding of big size rollers and cylinders, over the years RIF has widened its offer and established itself as a Company with a prominent position in the international marketplace as a Supplier of maintenance, refitting and surface renewal of the rolls and cylinders operating in several industrial sectors, primarily in the paper, board and tissue production lines.
RIF is also active in other industrial fields where cylinders or rotors are installed in the production lines, with special focus on medium and big sizes.
Along with the traditional activity of advanced and value adding maintenance provided to the existing rolls of the Clients, RIF does also design and manufacture new rolls and is nowadays a a recognized landmark for OEMs and Users of medium to large cylinders.
In particular cases, when the transportation of the cylinders is not possible due to size and weight (i.e. Yankee cylinders in tissue production) and under particular work conditions, the grinding, balancing, and thermal spraying operations have to be made on – site, directly at the Mill.
This is possible thanks to in-house designed and manufactured CNC portable machinery ensuring reliable quality and expert Teams working in shifts around the clock to minimize the costly paper machine downtimes
The traditional product range has finally been integrated by a diagnostics service, either at RIF or on site, including vibration analysis, various measurements and non-destructive testing

IM Converting machinery are designed and built according to a precise mission, that is the reduction of energy consumption of the entire production line and the use of not polluting materials.
IM-fold family of interfolding line for towels, toilet paper and facial tissues, is the result of a huge work of the R&D team. It incorporates a patented mechanical folding system, by now well developed and tested in production. This system allows to obtain a high operation efficiency, a perfect fold of the product, also on difficult to handle and high basis weight tissue, and high level production speeds.
As far as the energy consumption is concerned, we can guarantee that it is 50% less than competitors’ machines with same performances.
In addition, thanks to the newly designed system, it has been possible to reduce the time for production changes and maintenance operations, thus increasing the overall efficiency of the line.
Another challenge sustained by IM Converting and a very successful milestone reached is the design of IM-hug folded product logs wrapper, thus offering more GREEN solutions by reducing the use of plastic wrapping material.
IM hug is an intelligent answer to the problem: it is in fact one of the very few technologies that allow you to wrap / pack logs of folded products using paper instead of plastic, obtaining a truly green packaging with very high level performance (Up to 22 logs / min) with use of only 5Kw of electricity, thus maintaining the peculiar characteristics that distinguish us in this case as well. Many units are already into operation.

Lanex is a long-established manufacturer of paper carrier ropes, which they design and develop themselves in close cooperation with their customers. Lanex rigorously test their ropes, which they supply to customers all over the world, in their own laboratory, carefully measuring diameter, span, weight, strength and ductility. By choosing a rope that is based on the machine’s parameters you will significantly extend its life. This also minimizes the risk of unplanned machine downtime, which is a completely unnecessary expense.
Naturally, Lanex ropes, whose production is based on standardized processes with zero tolerance for manufacturing deviation, must also be taken care of from time to time. However, unlike the unplanned downtime of your machine, which you can avoid thanks to regular service, this technical support is exclusively their concern. Lanex will show you the correct rope splice, measure the tension, inspect the ropeway and audit the functionality and operation of the paper ropes. Of course, we provide the relevant training, seminars, splicing instructions and appropriate recommendations.
