OMC Collareda

OMC Collareda

OMC Collareda was initially called F.lli Collareda Sdf, and it was a small mechanical workshop producing metalwork for the industry in general.
Already back then, focus was on the Paper industry with the production of tanks, chests, metalworks, assembly and installation of said products at customer’s premises and relative connection pipes.

In 1981, acknowledging the needs of the Paper Industry to recover process water for use and recycle the raw materials contained in it, we began the adventure to design and build equipment suitable for the purpose, with the first “self-cleaning” sand filter, still being produced.

During those years, some changes were made to the trade name, which led F.lli Collareda Sdf to become O.M.C. Collareda Srl, despite retaining its production features

In the following years, with the scope to manufacture its own products, the resources were focused on the development and design of other technologies for the Paper industry, not only for treating water and recycling raw materials, but also auxiliary equipment to install in the stock preparation vat.
Currently, the activity consists in design, production, assembly and start-up of systems to treat water coming from industrial and civil processes, biological systems, primary water treatment, sludge dewatering, stock preparation systems for the Paper Industry, for any type of paper, and complete deinking plants.

Experience and structure allow not only to build specific equipment for the customer, but also to develop any engineering project in specific sectors, to perform “turn key” installations in any place and carry out improvement studies of existing water cycles. OMC Collareda evaluates case by case, proposing the most suitable customised solutions in compliance with laws and the main customer’s needs: recycling of raw materials, recovery of water and energy saving.

In particular cases, when the transportation of the cylinders is not possible due to size and weight (i.e. Yankee cylinders in tissue production) and under particular work conditions, the grinding, balancing, and thermal spraying operations have to be made on – site, directly at the Mill.
This is possible thanks to in-house designed and manufactured CNC portable machinery ensuring reliable quality and expert Teams working in shifts around the clock to minimize the costly paper machine downtimes
The traditional product range has finally been integrated by a diagnostics service, either at RIF or on site, including vibration analysis, various measurements and non-destructive testing

Lanex

Lanex

Lanex is a long-established manufacturer of paper carrier ropes, which they design and develop themselves in close cooperation with their customers. Lanex rigorously test their ropes, which they supply to customers all over the world, in their own laboratory, carefully measuring diameter, span, weight, strength and ductility. By choosing a rope that is based on the machine’s parameters you will significantly extend its life. This also minimizes the risk of unplanned machine downtime, which is a completely unnecessary expense.

Naturally, Lanex ropes, whose production is based on standardized processes with zero tolerance for manufacturing deviation, must also be taken care of from time to time. However, unlike the unplanned downtime of your machine, which you can avoid thanks to regular service, this technical support is exclusively their concern. Lanex will show you the correct rope splice, measure the tension, inspect the ropeway and audit the functionality and operation of the paper ropes. Of course, we provide the relevant training, seminars, splicing instructions and appropriate recommendations.
